Over the past 5 years our Operations Manager, Ray Hall, has been studying towards a degree in Business Studies. This month Ray found out that he had passed his degree with a 2:1.
“I started my studies with an HND before moving to the University of Ulster in Jordanstown to study for my degree”
“It seems to have taken ages to get this far, but during that time I have got married, moved house and set up a new home, which meant that it made sense for me to take a year out. It hasn’t always been easy with going back to studying at night and working as operations manager at Johnston Campbell throughout the week” he said.
“In the final year of the degree, my dissertation covered “The different problems businesses face when entering and remaining competitive within a marketplace” which hopefully will help me in my role as Operations and Facilities manager here.”
Ray perhaps hasn’t finished with further education and is considering going on to study for his chartered exams.
Everyone at Johnston Campbell passes on their congratulations, well done Ray!
